Summer flowering

For 2025 we offer you a colourful assortment, enriched with even more bulbous and tuberous plants, perennials and gardening supplies.

Delivery of summer flowers only between February and May.

  • Echinacea 'Sundown'

    Coneflower, heat- and drought-loving plant, native to North America. Many cultivars have developed over the years. Sundown has warm orange, not too large flowers and is visited en masse by butterflies.
  • Echinacea 'Tomatosoup'

    Coneflower, heat- and drought-loving plant, native to North America. Many cultivars have developed over the years. Tomatosoup has large, single, warm tomato red flowers and is visited en masse by butterflies.
  • Echinacea purpurea 'Fatal Attraction'

    Coneflower, heat- and drought-loving plant, native to North America. Many cultivars have developed over the years. Fatal Attraction is a sturdy plant with intense purple flowers on darker stems. Is visited en masse by butterflies.
  • Echinacea purpurea 'White Swan'

    Helleborine, Wasp orchid, a robust form, native to North America. Upright greenish orange flowers. Preferably plant in a slightly moist, humus-rich soil. Propagated through rhizomes, delivered in a 11 cm pot, well rooted. CITES: not for Switzerland.
  • Epipactis gigantea red leaf x thunbergii

    Helleborine, a cross between an American and an Asian species. Strong grower with a large number of bronze orange flowers. Preferably plant in a slightly moist, humus-rich soil. Propagated through rhizomes, delivered in a 11 cm pot, well rooted. CITES: not for Switzerland.
  • Epipactis palustris

    Marsh helleborine, an orchid that occurs in the Netherlands and Belgium. Green, brown-white flowers. Propagated through rhizomes, delivered in a 11 cm pot, well rooted. CITES: not for Switzerland.
  • Epipactis royleana

    An orchid native to the Himalayas, growing in moist meadows. The purple-red flowers appear in a loose cluster. Delivered in a 11 cm pot, well rooted. CITES: not for Switzerland.

  • Erigeron karvinskianus 'Profusion'

    Mexican Daisy. Fantastic long bloomer. Also very nice for use in pots and containers. Spreads easily, even grows along walls and in difficult spots.
  • Eucomis 'Montana'

    (Pineapple flower). summer flowering, in autumn followed by showy seed heads, hardiness zone 9-10. white flowers with a purple black centre.
  • Eucomis autumnalis

    Pineapple flower. summer flowering, in autumn followed by showy seed heads, height 20-30 cm. Small white flowers, very showy, late flowering.
  • Eucomis bicolor

    Pineapple flower. summer flowering, in autumn followed by showy seed heads, height 30 - 60 cm. Greenish and white.
  • Eucomis comosa

    Syn. E. punctata. Pineapple flower. summer flowering, in autumn followed by showy seed heads, height 30 - 60 cm., hardiness zone 9-10, grown from seed, so the colour is variable. White, pink and green shades and anything in between.
  • Eucomis comosa 'Indian Summer'

    Pineapple flower. New Eucomis with purple and dark green foliage. The inflorescence looks like a pineapple, sturdy stems with pink flowers. After flowering, the seed pods retain their ornamental value for a long time. Also very suitable for pots.
  • Eucomis pallidiflora subsp. pole-evansii

    Pineapple flower. summer flowering, in autumn followed by showy seed heads, hardiness zone 9-10, more or less the same colour as E. bicolor, but very exciting due to the height (100 - 140 cm.). Grown from seed, so colour and height might be a bit variable.
