    (Syn. Homeria ochroleuca) Cape tulip. Not related to the tulip but one of the many members of the Iridaceae-family. Cup shaped flowers. Not entire hardy, so give them a good groundcover in winter or dig them out in October. Plant the corms in well drained, humus rich soil in full sun. Hardiness zone 9-10. Yellow.

    A forest plant native to central China with attractive, woolly, heart-shaped grey-green leaves. The pale yellow flowers appear from April onwards and can continue to bloom throughout the summer. Very hardy and not fussy about soil type.

    Voodoo-lily, synonym Arum cornutum, from the Himalayas and South India. Special purple-brown inflorescence that appears in July-August and gives off an unpleasant odor.
