Summer flowering

Salmon colored. Cornish lily, Cape flower, Guernsey lily, and Bowden lily, autumn-flowering bulbous plant from South Africa. For a position in full sun. Nerine is reasonably hardy and in a sheltered, warm place (possibly with winter cover) will return for years and show its flowers in autumn. Excellent cut flowers.

One of the selections in the Martagon group, purple-red, the outside of the flower is pink. These lilies have a natural look, spread a wildflower scent and are attractive to bumblebees, bees and butterflies. Plant them in light, humus-rich soil (lime) with good drainage.
