During the holidays, we will be temporarily closed for shipment. We will start shipping again from the 6th of January 2025.

Summer-flowering bulbs will be available to order from the beginning of February.

Shipping and Delivery

All Bulbs and other products such as those offered on the website are delivered by PostNL and their foreign associates. We send the order as soon as possible, taking into account the desired delivery time.

Unique to Verberghe is that your order is packed by hand right before sending it.  A big advantage is that the bulbs and tubers are kept under the right conditions until the time of packaging.

Through our years of experience we know exactly how the products should be packed so that they suffer as little as possible from transportation. It is of course important to open the parcele immediately upon arrival and to give the bulbs, tubers and/or plants proper care.

On the day of shipment you receive a mail with a tracking number. You can track your parcel online. Usually parcels send to a Dutch adress are delivered within 24 hours after sending. Parcels send to foreign countries take more time. 

If you order before the planting season:

Flower bulbs are natural products, they are only available part of the year. In the course of August, the bulbs and tubers are harvested and delivered to us, so not everything is immediately in stock.

Delivery of flower bulbs starts from planting time; late August / early September. From then on, it may take several weeks before you receive your order.

If you have only ordered autumn-flowering bulbs, your order will be shipped as soon as possible from August.

If your order contains Hippeastrum, we cannot deliver your order before the end of September (due to the preparation of the flower bulbs).

Shipping of the summer flowering bulbs starts from the beginning of February.

When you place your order you can choose a desired shipping period. See Shipping periods and plant instructions.

When you have received a confirmation, we have your order in our system and you can assume that your order will be delivered in the course of the planting time. Please do not call or email us about this. You will receive a notification at the beginning of the shipping period.

At the time of shipment, we will send a packing slip with track and trace number, an invoice and you will receive an email from PostNL with a track and trace link.

Shipments to countries outside the Netherlands can take several working days from dispatch.

It is important to keep a close eye on these e-mails and the shipment. Once shipped, it is the customer's responsibility to track and receive the package. When the shipment is returned, we are forced to calculate the costs for a new shipment.
