Solomon's Seal

A Chinese forest plant related to Solomon's seal. White, lightly scented, pendulous flowers. Evergreen and vigorously growing.

A fairly sturdy Chinese forest plant with creamy white, bell-shaped flowers, which remains partially evergreen in mild winters. After flowering, shiny black berries form. Suitable for a (semi-)shaded location on humus-rich soil.

Greenish Bellwort, Large merrybells. Soft yellow, nodding, wide-opening bell-shaped flowers at the end of the approx. 40 cm. long stems. Feels perfectly at home in acidic, humus-rich soil in the semi-shade. A woodland plant.
