Trillium cuneatum
Trillium is a beautiful woodland plant for in the (semi-)shade on humus-rich soil. It takes a while for the plant to develop, the rhizome may even remain latent the first year after planting. But it is worth the wait. Red-brown upright flowers and also beautifully marked leaves. -
Agapanthus 'Dr. Brouwer'
African lily, striking perennial up to 100 cm. Not very hardy in most parts of Europe. The first flowers appear in the second year after planting, large deep blue flowers. -

Garden amaryllis. An African plant for a sunny location. Flowers appear in the second year after planting. The pink flowers appear in late summer after the folliage dies back. Needs to be covered in winter. -
Amorphophallus bulbifer
(Devil’s Tongue, Snake Palm) not hardy genus, prefers temperatures above 10 °C. Very showy performance but unpleasantly scented. Not the largest of this genus but with a spate of 40 cm. still a showy performer, flowering time: June/July. The spate is mainly green with white and pink stripes and spots -

Anacamptis sancta
Holy orchid, native to the eastern Mediterranean. Flower colour is variable, ranging from pink to dark purple. The plant goes dormant in summer and thrives best in calcareous soil. Moderately hardy. -

Single flowered varieties, beautiful mix. Commonly known as a cutting flower, but also grows well in the garden. Needs cover in winter. Height 30 cm. Flowering period April-July. -

Italian pick anemones. Large, roze flowers, sometimes with an extra layer of petals. Best known as a cut flower, but also nice for the garden. Cover lightly in winter. Italian A. coronaria are healthy, vigorous plants, created by careful selection work at an Italian nursery. The tubers are smaller than those of the Israeli Anemone, but this has no effect on the development of the plant. -
