Chilean crocus, for the enthusiast, plant in a cold greenhouse just in case. The gentian blue flowers appear in the spring.

A Brodiaea with double, dark blue flowers. The flowers are arranged in an umbel and are suitable for picking and placing in a vase. Triteleia also naturalises well in a warm, sunny border.

Sea squill, Seo Onion, a bulbous plant found in coastal areas around the Mediterranean Sea. From the large bulb grows a slender stem set with hundreds of white flowers. After flowering, the leaves appear. Overwinter frost-free as a tub plant. Plant the bulb halfway above ground.
