The offering is from a Dutch nursery, the flower clusters are fuller than the species and stand upright longer before bending over to one side. The breeder does his best to keep the stock pure, but it is possible that some H. x massertiana will be found in it (a natural cross between H. non-scripta and the native H. hispanica).

These forms will be colourfast when vegetatively propagated, but offspring from seed will turn blue again. The offer comes from a Dutch nursery.
