Amorphophallus bulbifer
Devil's tongue is an arum-like plant found in southern China, India, Nepal and other places. Before the leaves form, the approximately 40 cm large inflorescence develops, consisting of a pink bract and a pinkish spadix. The inflorescence has an unpleasant odour. The plant is not hardy and must be kept frost-free during the winter, when it is dormant.
