Tulipa mauritiana is a wild form, also found in the Mediterranean area (Neo-tulip). The hybrid, from 1968, has a lemon-yellow flower, flamed red along the edges.

Ivory white 'Jenny', a variety from the first half of the last century, which is still grown, albeit on a limited basis.
